Kapconstructie van de "Brunel-style "overkapping van perrons.

The " Brunel" style canopy under construction. For the construction we use small wooden baulks and a jig for glueing the parts together. The big baulk at the right is a distance jig to keep the vertical baulks at the correct distance. At the left side we see the goodshed with the small internal loading platform. When the cardboard body of the shed is ready we will cover the body with small scale planks. The tracks are ready but we need to put the balast between the rails. picture 18/08/2001 © cdj		De in aanbouw zijnde "Brunel" style perron overkapping. Voor de constructie wordt gebruik gemaakt van gezaagde houten profielen welke op een mal in elkaar gelijmt worden. De rechter staanders staan nog in de mal. De eerste staander is aan de bovenkant afgesloten met dunne plankjes. De stangen in het dwars verband zijn dunne messing staafjes die in de staanders zijn vastgelijmd. Achter de overkapping is een glimp te zien van het interieur van de goederenloods. Een kleine kraan moet nog gebouwd worden. Ook moet de goederenloods nog bekleed worden met dunne houten plankjes. foto 18/08/2001 © cdj
